Troubleshooting
- There is a dark line across the screen. It looks like fluid underneath the screen.
A: The glass on the LCD panel is broken. Some of the picture may still be visible. The panel is replaceable but this is not covered under warranty.
- When I connect the tablet player to my TV, the image on the TV is black and white and is rolling up the screen constantly but the image on the tablet player is normal.
A: The TV and DVD player must be set to the same image format to work perfectly together. A PAL TV only work with PAL output and A NTSC TV only work with NTSC output. Follow these steps to change PAL/NTSC output. Go to “SETUP”, Select “VIDEO”, Select “PAL” or “NTSC”.
- I cannot power my DVD player from the AC adaptor.
A: The AC adaptor is out of order if the DVD player still works perfectly using the auto adapter power cord or the rechargeable battery. Contact our customer service for a replacement or repair.
- The remote control does not work.
A: Change the battery in the remote control. Battery type CR2025, available from most electrical stores.
- There is black bar above and below the picture. The player is not using the full screen available. Is it possible to change?
A: There are 3 ways. 1. You can zoom into the picture. 2. Play Full Screen DVD. 3. Change the TV TYPE in SETUP menu to 4:3 or 16:9, different DVD supports different mode.
- Is there an existing DivX or Xvid firmware updates for my NextBase DVD player?
A: No. DivX and Xvid cannot be upgraded with a firmware updates.
- Why my DVD player show “Bad Disc” when I play DVD with MP3 files?
A: NextBase DVD players do not play MP3 files on DVD discs. Please download your MP3 files onto CD-R or CD-RW.
